COMPUTERIZED ACCOUNTING DIPLOMA
The purpose to this program is to provide an extensive knowledge and skills in computerized accounting to students. Students will be trained in a unique hands-on environment, directed by an instructor while working on the computers. The course is outlined to cover the following:
MICROSOFT OFFICE
MS Word -- Microsoft Word is a widely used word processing software. It provides powerful tools for creating and sharing professional word processing documents. It has become a must for nearly all office work.MS Excel – Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet application designed by Microsoft. You can create detailed spreadsheets for viewing and collaboration. You can also create customized formulas for your data and analyze it with the easy-to-construct charts. Upon completing the course the student will learn:
MS PowerPoint – Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation software developed by Microsoft. It provides a complete set of tools for creating powerful presentations. It can help you to organize and format your material easily, illustrate your points with your own images or clip art, and even broadcast your presentations over the web.Upon completing the course the student will learn:
MS Access –Microsoft Access is a relational database management system from Microsoft which combines the relational Microsoft Jet Database Engine with a graphical user interface and software development tools.You will learn the four basic modules of Access: Tables, Forms, Reports and Queries.
ELEMENTARY ACCOUNTING
This subject provides the students the basic accounting knowledge required in the real working environment, and indicates the full accounting cycle. After the study, the student will be able to have the knowledge of accounting process in an organization, and develop the skills as a bookkeeper.
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING
This subject indicated the importance factors in various financial statements, and other transaction related knowledge in accounting, after the study of this subject, the students will be able to do analysis on financial statements, make recommendations on the internal system operations, and identify different financial accounts.
SIMPLYACCOUNTING
This subject will teach students how to use simple accounting. After the study, the students will be able to use simply accounting to entry transactions, record and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and backups.
ACCPAC
ACCPAC was designed for mid-larger size companies with multi-functions. The student will learn to use ACCPAC through practice exercises with basic accounting principles.
CANADIAN PAYROLL
This subject will provide students with the payroll-related legislation affecting organizations, as well as the tools to find information and apply that information to different scenarios in relation to individual pay. The subject will cover all components of individual pay from remuneration, through deductions, to net pay for both regular and non-regular situations as well. Also, this subject covers remittances to federal, provincial and third party stakeholders as well as preparing accounting documentation for payroll and year end.
OFFICE AND BUSINESS PROCEDURE
This course introduces the student to what is involved in a career as an office professional. Human relations; time, work and resource management; organization structure and office layout; office technology; front-line reception; aspects of business communication specific to the office professional; office commerce and record keeping; and professional development are areas that will be covered in this subject.
TAXATION
This module is designed to provide the student with the fundamentals of Canadian personal income taxation and the accounting needed to begin work in the tax field. It will cover both personal and corporate taxation with assigned cases used to demonstrate how the tax system actually works. It will also cover balance sheet and income statement accounting topics related to tax practice.

FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND CONTROLLING
FI module is a powerful integrated environment dynamically interfacing Accounts Receivable/Payable functions with General Ledger and Assets Accounting. You will usually encounter both FI and CO (Cost Center Controlling) in a business environment. The procedures for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable are very similar in R/3. In this course you will learn to process posting procedures for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
