English as a Second Language Program
For students whose first language is not English, Pures offers full-time English programs to you improve your language skills to meet the academic requirements of your program. The students will take the comprehensive assessment upon arrival, in order to determine the ESL level. Our ESL program includes three levels. Completion of the highest level opens up the pathway to post-secondary programs at our partnership colleges.
We strongly recommend all the international students shall take the English assessment test and let us know your actual English skill’s level.
Meanwhile, we provide part-time ESL programs to improve your English in the evening or on the weekend. Students, who find difficulties during study diploma programs, will have the option to take part-time ESL program or English tutorial sections.

IELTS Test
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test. It is an internationally recognized language test designed to assess the language ability of test takers who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. More than 9000 organisations worldwide accept IELTS results. These include including colleges, universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies.
Pures College is an authorized IELTS testing venue, running monthly tests for your convenience. Students can apply for the test on campus. Contact one of our Student Counsellors to find out about our testing schedule and how to prepare for your test.
